I really hope you're not living with him. I would think this would be a very difficult thing to overcome without space. He needs to reflect on how shitty he actually was in that situation because it was SHITTY. That's a time when we're supposed to be able to let our guard down and really trust. He threw all that out the window. I'm really sorry he did this to you. You didn't deserve it. I know that's an obvious statement but I don't want you to subconsciously feel like it was in any way your fault. Another thought I had: I have a significant lisp and neither of my parents do. It would seem children maybe gain speech patterns not just through their parents. But I am not a doctor nor a parent so I’m just giving you anecdotes. I’m sure your baby will be just fine :)
