ECON 480- Seminar in Microeconomics

Prerequisites: Level 4; a minimum Cumulative GPA of 1.90; A minimum GPA of 2.60 in 30.0 units of ECON; 9.0 units from (ECON 310; ECON 320; ECON 351). How strict are the requirements above ? Only 3 units are required from ECON 310; ECON 320; ECON 351 to obtain a joint honors in Econ and yet all 9 units are required to take Econ 480 which is a requirement to graduate with a joint honors Econ. I want to make sure I am understanding this correctly.
