Wisdom tooth removal at 30

Has anyone here had their wisdom teeth removed at or past the age of thirty? Mine didn’t start coming in until this year, so I’m getting them out, but I just read that the risk of nerve damage is higher when you’re over the age of 25 and now I’m scared. Curious to know what anyone else’s experience was like and appreciate any input you could give me.
