A month- What have you learned?
Been with this for a month. So far I learned how much I eat and to portion things down, eat more fruit, vegetables and replace high calorie items with lower items. Like instead of regular bacon use turkey. Eat more chicken and fish. I still haven’t stayed within my points all the time but I’ve lost weight.
My next goal is to try new recipes. Right now I’m having a hard time with realizing that most food I like actually includes a “with”. I like scrambled eggs with ketchup. Fresh vegetables with ranch. Banana and waffles with peanut butter & syrup. All the “withs” are generally higher points than the actual main food. So I’ve switched to no Sugar syrup, mayo and ketchup. I’ve discovered that no sugar items are just replaced with fake sugars which I have stayed away from and still intend to. So I’m getting a little frustrated.
So what have you learned the first month? Besides Greek yogurt have you found any healthier “withs” without fake sugars?
