The negative impact of the Dray-Poole incident is underestimated

To prevent the obvious rebuttals. This incident is talked about a lot. Just not enough. Everything we wonder why the Warriors fell out. This is literally the major factor. And I loved this mf, believe it or not, we wouldn't have 4 chips without him, but still, he f***** up.

I've been a Warriors fan since 2020 (from Brazil, represent, not really bandwagon lol). The 2022 chip was a miracle for me. In fact, unironically the best thing in that year for me.

Then Dray f***** everything up. Tell me, as a Warriors fan, that you did not see the whole team just check out after that punch.

Think about every single team that has won a chip over the last 3 decades. Skill is the most important factor, but the second most important (sometimes it's even the first) is for everyone to be locked in. Draymond f'd that with that punch.

The Warriors would always fall out, there was no way of sustaining that, but Draymond sped that up. Tell me, would you go to a workplace where a leader can literally assault a coworker and nothing happens?

There are whispers that we could get KD back. I hope we do. But guess what is the major factor that might render that an impossibility? You know which factor.
