Newbie question

I've been an UE/Doordash driver for quite a while now. Today I finally turned on rides. I'm in a Civic so I can only uberX. But the 2 rides I just did i didn't get a trip estimate, only the rider's location and rating. I didn't know how far I was going until after I picked them up. Is there a way to look at that before you accept? Also are tips like UE where you don't get them until an hour?
