Uber Breaking Terms for Drivers with Standard Mode Punishment

  1. Uber removed my advantage mode today. This means I can only receive offers from Trip Radar, all of which have a BOOKED MILEAGE RATE below the Federal Standard Deduction, meaning I would LOSE money by accepting any of them.

  2. Uber is doing this because I accidentally accepted a Shared ride that I couldn't fulfill, but it had two riders and Uber is counting each rider as a separate cancellation, despite only accepting one ride.

  3. Uber refused to offer me any phone support for about 5 hours today until I complained on Twitter/X. Once I was able to get phone support, they have hung up on me four separate times when I've requested to speak with a supervisor.

  4. Uber is saying I must complete Trip Radar rides until my cancellation rate falls back to 8%, but they REFUSE TO TELL ME HOW MANY RIDES THAT WILL REQUIRE. Uber also refuses to provide the data used to calculate my cancellation rate.

  5. This behavior by Uber is a de-facto punishment, and according to the September 30, 2024 Driver Fare Addendum, administrative penalties must be administered as Set-Offs. This means that Uber is violating their own TOS for drivers by financially punishing us this way.
