Shorter periods

Hello everyone, my husband(32) and I (31) are trying to conceive. It has been around 5 months since we are trying. We did go through some normal tests before trying to conceive and everything was normal but now with time passing I am getting restless. I hardly get periods for 2 days but my gynac said it was not an issue. Does it take time for couples to conceive even after using Opks??
