Toddler has a meltdown every time we get her dressed?
So this is also asking for advice as well as venting cause my husband and I are at the end of our rope. My toddler is 19 months (20 months in just over a week) and getting her ready in general every day is a literal battle. I’m talking tears, screaming, flailing, and just all around chaos. These last few days have gotten so bad that I’ve had to stop halfway through to step outside and cool off. I have tried EVERYTHING recommended. I give her choices, I try to get her involved, I sing songs, I try to make a game out of it; NOTHING WORKS. This also goes for brushing/doing her hair, which I suspect the reason she hates it so much is cause it’s really curly and takes a minute to do properly. My hair is dead straight and flat on my head so I’ll admit I’m still mastering doing her hair. Is it possible for terrible twos to hit this early? Cause I’ll admit getting her dressed and changing her diaper has always been kind of a race cause she HATES laying in one spot for too long but lately it’s really ramped up. What else can I do?
