[TOMT][SHOW?] Space Girl DisneyXD show

As a kid(7-8), I had access to the Disney channels(Disney, XD, etc). And I have a vague memory of this animated series of a girl and a pet/friend that I think she kept in her book bag. The show was about the classic "girls rule, boys drool" Type of Disney original show. The episodes took place in a school setting. I can't remember character names or what they looked like, all I remember is that (I think) the girl doesn't have her mom in her life or that they're not living together anymore and now her side kick comedic relief pet thing can help her survive space school and make friends. The only scene/quote from the show was the girl talking to her pet and that him saying "if you get the hiccups, hold your breath and think about polka dots" or something similar. I can't for the life of me find it anywhere on Disney+ or on google. I just hope this wasn't some weird fever dream I had as a kid tho lol.
