Lenovo ThinkPad T14 G1 advice?

Looking to purchase a Lenovo ThinkPad T14 in Norway after going through numerous posts regarding the T470 & t480 (and S) models. Primarily as a school computer that's rugged for media, programming and browsing - I already have a workhorse (gaming) laptop but it's too heavy and 17 inches, ends up draining within 3 - 4 hours if unplugged.

I've found a contender that uses the AMD CPU, however I'm unsure if it's an alright price, most of the similar laptops are in the same price field in my country.

I asked for lower and they offered 374 USD (4000 NOK) Still feel this is a bit steep depending on the screen as I'll probably have to upgrade both the memory as well as the storage size?
