keyboard sound control only affects Game and not Master in Sonar GG

Hey guys, i have an apex 350 keyboard and an Arctics headphones.
on the right side on the keyboard i have sound controls including vol up/down, but they dont apply to "master" in sonar, only to "game", so its basicly useless now..
anyone has an idea on how to solve this?
