Re-innervated MLD?

I’ve done research and can’t seem to find the answer to this: is it possible to re-innervate MLD after having flap creation? I know this a better question to ask a surgeon or doctor however Miro just basically said he doesn’t do that. I have not been able to reach the surgeons that were preforming re-innervated MLD nor do I know if they’re still doing this. There’s very little information out about it.

I’m guessing it’s not possible and that the cross compatibility between the nerves that would have to be harvested from the arm or elsewhere wouldn’t work with the MLD donor site.

I’ve been pretty certain that I want MLD but recently I’ve been reconsidering RFF due to the difference in tactile sensation capabilities.

If anyone has any insight or can share a link to info about this that would be great!
