45m with 2.4L as monthly Basic+DA salary. Plus I have 65L in NPS T1. Should I opt for UPS or keep staying in NPS? My retirement age is 65, so i have 20 more years to go. Choice to switch to UPS have to be made before April!

Pretty much the title. I am a central govt employee. As per my understanding, 60% lumpsum tax free withdrawal in NPS is a big deal, but the lumpsum in UPS is significantly lower. For instance, lets consider I retire at 65. Then lumpsum (only 60% of corpus; rest 40% i will use to buy the annuity) in NPS as I calculate for next 20 years be 3.8 Cr https://cra-nsdl.com/CRAOnline/aspQuote.html while just 12L in UPS https://buildonclick.com/ups.php. Pension would be similar, 1.3L as of now.

3.7 cr more for NPS is a big deal, but then there are associated risks, as NPS is market linked while UPS is guaranteed. Given I have 20 more years to go, it look like staying in NPS is better. But then we are going through very tumultuous times, I am getting vibes that the economy might not even recover, heading to a slow down. What are your thoughts?
