Supplements for insomnia
Hi everyone, After having a very wakeful little one, I am having very bad insomnia now myself. It's like my brain has forgotten how to sleep 😅 I am really wanting to take a natural supplement, however I am anxious about side effects (specifically mangesium or melatonin due to some reports of some people experiencing further insomnia and hallucinations. My exhaustion was so extreme postpartum I hallucinated, hence my fear). I'm home full time with our little one so I want to avoid drowsiness also. I have asked my GP for help (I've had adverse reactions to sleep meds before so don't want to do that again), and all I was told is that natural supplements are placebo and they can only help me with actual meds. Does anyone have recommendations for a supplement that helped them with their insomnia? I will be combining the supplement together with a few other methods to get my sleep hygiene in good shape also. Thanks so much ❤️
