Anyone with only 1-2 equity scheme?
Who all here have only 1 or 2 equity schemes in their portfolio and wants to keep it that way in the foreseeable long term?
I am of the opinion that buying multiple schemes is akin to buying the market at a higher cost. Diversification benefits stops at 20 odd stocks, so multiple schemes with minimal overlap would mean one is buying the entire market in a way. I think that is being over diversified.
Thoughts?
Edit: not asking you to share your schemes, just wanted to discuss about the reasoning and the flaws in this strategy. 😅
