MGS 1 & 2 platinum tips

Hey everyone

I'm new to the subreddit but not to MGS, been a fan since I watched my older brother first play Snake Eater when it launched. Just was looking to platinum each game and I'm going through the Master Collection currently and have my sights set on MGS 1 & 2 next. Been trying to get some trophies and not playing them before has me being awful at them. Looking for any tips or help to get the platinum, I know about playing the Japanese version but looking for extra help.
