Simplest way to visit Wasserstraßenkreuz?

My friend and I would be visiting Magdeburg soon. Any suggestions on how to visit Wasserstraßenkreuz? We don't have a car so we have to rely on public transport (if something goes there). Any other recommendations are also welcome.
