Joe Better Watch Mel

From a woman’s perspective:

She made me feel extremely uncomfortable listening to the pod today. I wasn’t sure how I felt about Mel before but I saw this in her but I was hoping she wouldn’t pull this—this won’t be the last of this. I don’t like what she did on air today—AT ALL!

1. Joe is going to have a serious problem on his hands if he decides to part ways with Mel.

2. Mel has a history of burning bridges in the industry. Her fallout with Jason Lee was messy, and her explosive exit from Bravo speaks for itself. She doesn’t leave situations gracefully.

3. Mel is used to skating by on her looks with minimal effort, but the problem is—she’s not the same Melyssa Ford from back in the day. Now, Joe is holding her accountable and expecting actual work, and instead of improving, she lashes out. That’s why she kept bringing up what she does versus what others don’t, trying to frame it as sexism. She even repeatedly used the word “fear” on today’s pod, which felt intentional.

4. Joe and the guys shut down her flirtatious attempts early, and she hates that they always call out her thirsting on social media. She’s acting desperate because she still believes her value lies in that, even when it’s not working.

5. Melyssa is intelligent, but she only uses it to do the bare minimum and stay afloat. It’s frustrating to see her legacy reduced to survival mode instead of growth.

6. The whole “she’s vulnerable, and they’re bullying her” narrative needs to stop. IT’S AN ACT. Today, she showed she knows exactly how to speak up for herself—she just didn’t expect Joe to call out her work ethic.

7. She’s the worst type of employee: the kind who can’t take criticism, deflects responsibility, and points fingers instead of focusing on her own performance.

I’m just going to sit back and watch this unfold. She pretended to just be venting, but the way she used certain trigger words? It feels like she’s setting the stage for something.
