Go big or go home approach

I hate the idea of diversifying. There’s a chance I can pick 1 good stock but I can’t pick 10 good stocks. And if I divvy my money into 10, each pot is a lot less and even if I make 50% of it, I still have to worry about the other ones tanking. If I put all eggs in 1 basket, I have a better chance of hitting it big. You know what I’m saying? I listened to expert and diversified. I picked like 10 stocks or so and when one goes up the others go down, it’s so tiring. And the one that goes up, because the base is just 1/10, it’s not even that much when it’s up. So what is the point? You know what I mean? Isn’t it easier to pick 1 good stock than to pick 10 good stocks?
