Need Opinion | South Bengaluru | Arekere

I (33M, to be married soon) am doing a house hunt and came across an apartment in Arkere, Bannerghatta Road. It's a ready-to-move-in 2 BHK flat in a built-up area of around 1465 sqft. The price being asked is 11k. The total flat cost is around 1.9 cr. I want to buy this for personal use and intend to live here for another 6-8 years. The property is located on the 80-feet road with good connectivity to the metro and Bannerghatta road with Arekere lake nearby. However, I am unsure about the location and the pricing seems steep as it is far from IT spots like Whitefield, Manyata, and other tech corridors and on the other side of Silk Board.

The property is a takeover property as the project was stalled for around five years after the previous builder completed around 25% of it. Then, the current builder took over and finished the rest in the last two years. The current builder is a grade 2 builder with a good track record and construction quality.

I need advice on whether buying a property in South Bengaluru is still a good idea or whether I should look for something near tech corridors or north Bengaluru.
