Can someone please convince me to continue the blood and ash series?

I’m 40% of the way through The Crown of Gilded Bones. Really enjoyed the first couple but I’m starting to get bored😭 I’m notorious for doing this after the main characters finally get together but I really want to believe in this series. I saw a spoiler that “Nyktos” is supposed to appear in book four and he’s like the ultimate book boyfriend but I’m having a hard time getting there. Also I’m assuming that it’s really Hawke/Casteel but it just feels like such a leap that even if that’s the case I feel like I’m going to be rolling my eyes at it😂 Can someone please convince me that it’s worth reading on? I don’t mind some spoilers if the read will still be worth it.
