Insane takes on allowing babies everywhere
For about the one millionth time a clickbait article about a mother who felt entitled to bring her newborn to COLLEGE CLASSES with her popped up on my feed. You know, classes for adults. That adults paid for? Most of the comments were sane except for a couple. One said that "everyone else" gets accomodations so moms should too. Only "everybody else" is people with disabilities. A baby is not a disability. Another said, verbatim "continuation of their breakdown of the traditional family". Because big bad "they" have these grandiose plans against heterosexual, child having households, because...reasons.
There were also a couple of "well, she can just take it out if it fusses". No. No matter how fast she gets out when the baby starts shrieking, it still disrupts the class and interferes with students' focus and concentration. Your baby, your problem.
The lengths people will go to to justify leaving absolutely no CF spaces is becoming almost laughable, hence the humor flair.
