How to pivot out of agency work

Hi all, I’m about 7 years out of college. Right after Uni, I started work at an agency working in Sales or what they like to call New Business. So I worked on pitch decks, vetting calls, pitching, etc. About two years ago, due to my company doing layoffs, my company made me start doing both sales and marketing and gave me the Director of Growth Marketing title. However, I feel like I’ve always been so overworked and underpaid working at agencies and would like to pivot into something more lucrative such as Product Marketing or Product Management. The agencies I’ve worked for has always focused on tech or finance clients, and my role has always been in-house rather than working on client accounts. Does anyone have any advice?
