FTM working on our nursery. Unsure of necessary furniture.

Hi everyone! I’m a FTM who is working on our nursery. It’s very minimal so far with a crib, lazy boy, and a very narrow changing table dresser with three drawers.

We have a whole wall to work with, and I’m not sure about what to do with the space. One thing I realized is that we have zero surface area for a humidifier, warm warmer, nightlight, etc. the changing table dresser is so narrow that there is only enough room for the changing pad on it. Do we need a dresser for the surface area and storage?

We planned to use a cube shelf system for clothes in our closet, but maybe the extra storage plus the surface area is needed.

My husband is also thinking about adding a twin bed in there instead of a dresser if we need to stay in the nursery. But if we do this, what can we get for some much-needed surface area in there? What do you think is the greatest priority - a dresser or a twin bed? Thank you!
