I am a social science researcher with Autism and ADHD. What neurodivergence-related research questions do you all have?

TL:DR: I just started my career and want my research to reflect the voice of the autistic community.

Context and more Info

• I work at a research institute that focuses on people with disabilities and people in rural areas.
• I have access to a unique survey that has very large subsamples of neurodivergent and queer people.
• I am a mixed-methods researcher, which means I conduct quantitative (statistics etc…) and qualitative (interviews etc…) research.
• I have the autonomy to conduct my own research, but am limited by my capacity and funding.
  • To do something big and complex I would need to apply for a grant with coworkers.
  • This happens all the time so I still want your big ideas.
• There is, in fact, an established 'old guard' of neurotypical ASD researchers with problematic and regressive views.
