Restricted License

I’ve been planning to do my restricted test at New Lynn sometime at the end of December. I tried booking it online but no dates are available for New Lynn until October next year. Is this actually the case or have VTNZ New Lynn just temporarily stopped taking bookings and if they have, will they open up bookings again in January or so?

If I can’t book for New Lynn then I’m considering doing my test at Mount Wellington or Westgate - which one is easier/has less confusing roads as I’m not familiar with both areas.
