Controversial opinion - Same Sun Sign relationships are actually some of the best ones you can have.

I know people love to dismiss sun signs and go to the whole "but look at the whole chart". The reality is though if you have a Sun in a certain sign, there is a high likelihood that your Mercury, Venus, and to an extent even Mars can be in that same sign. Stelliums (having 3 or more planets in your natal chart) in the same sign are not that rare.

However, certain planets like Mercury can never be more than a sign or maybe two away from the Sun.

What is likely is if you date someone of the same sun sign, there are likely to be a lot of conjunctions which are the most intense aspects out there.

The people who claim that "oh I never date or end up with my Sun Sign" are the ones where the rest of their chart is hardly like their sun. For example, they might be a Leo Sun with everything else in Virgo and then scratching their head over why they never date fellow fire signs.

For a lot of people, the best, most romantically intense, and fulfilling relationships you will have will often be with those of your same sun sign.
