Why did I randomly receive this text from Ellen last night?

Skipped forward to the next in-game day and randomly got this from Ellen. I feel like it's a follow-up to a quest, but I don't remember doing anything involving Ellen and McDunn. I only just got Ellen and haven't even started her story or Trust events yet
