I Have a Bit of a Partial Vocaloid Concert in Slightly Better Quality (Vocaloid3 X LiveAR Concert @ DCEXPO 2011)
No flair because honestly, I'm not sure what one fits!
Specifically I have a four minute video in my archives titled,
Akiko and Gumi Vocaloid real live @ DC-Expo 2011 Tokyo
It's in 560p and features Akikoloid singing "青いコンビニであいましょう" with human backup dancers. I have found it online after some searching (via Loxanna Zin,) but I believe my version is less artifacted. You can find it here. (https://gofile.io/d/5OHttT <-- Transparently posted url for the curious.)
I also have a 360p version featuring about 22 minutes of the concert entitled,
DCEXPO2011_VOCALOID3xLiveAR.mp4
which I have similarly uploaded. This copy is clearer and less artifacted than the version I checked it against, Webcore's Vocaloid Archive, so I thought it may also be of use to someone were I to offer it.
Perhaps this will be of use to someone! I hope so! I have... a lot of things kicking around my archives, so I will see if there's anything else I might have worth sharing... especially as it seems this sub is having a meltdown.
(For what it's worth, I feel the NSFW content ban is absolutely atrocious and frankly a slap in the face to many of our greatest creators, because it doesn't just ban the explicitly sexual songs -- which do not need to be censored in a time when Japanese content creators are already being targeted with literal bank bans both domestically and abroad) -- but because it also targets songs about depression, loss, and fear.
Put another way: if you would ban posting 赤ペンおねがいします (Aka Pen Onegai Shimasu | Please Give Me a Red Pen) because of subject matter -- effectively silencing siinamota's last words because it's ~uncomfortable~ -- you have absolutely no integrity and have no place moderating a community where the subject matter itself often deals with the dark, the scary, and the painful aspects of being alive. Yes, one guy made a nasty song: as they have since the dawn of Vocaloid. Block discussion of the bad actor, move on, and don't harm sincere, wonderful creators due to the actions of a single bad actor.)
