Rusted rails
The masons have this chop saw, rails have rusted so that you can't smoothly push the carriage bed into the blade along the tracks.
Ground out rust, Angle iron replacement rails, bolted into side of frame and sealed with rubber washer nuts as it's a wet saw. Put abit of water repelent kn tbe rails. Runs smooth as a dream on the new rails. The idea is that I can change the rail again rather than weld it yknow.
Cleaned it up and re finished the clamp. and changed the intake pump too.
I can't tell the guys to care to keep it clean. The employer doesn't have the cash or care to buy a new one. What to do ey.
