Another tire ? Falken Wilpeak vs Michelin CC2's
So my 2017 Forester 2.0XT Touring is in need of new rubber... and I've read through a lot of commentary on tires the past couple of weeks and watched tons of youtube videos on comparisons. I've narrowed it down to either Falken Wildpeak A/T or Michelin CrossClimate 2. I live in Oklahoma and we get 4 seasons of weather, but more rain/ice than snow most of the time in Winter. Also, my Forester is stock and she's mostly used for a daily driver around town to/from work and occasional highway tourer. In 5 years of ownership I've taken it on 'trails' almost never. Other than looks, is there one of these 2 you'd recommend over the other? The Wildpeaks look more rugged which is appealing, but do they handle rain, ice and mileage as well as the CC2s? Not considering price, does anyone have experience w/both and prefer one to the other?
