Any Educators with stretched ears?

I am a 33m teacher on my 13th year of teaching. I'm currently at 10mm. Ive been restretching for the past year or so. I had them at about 6mm when I was in high school, but took them out for college and they closed up almost overnight. I just sized up, but my dad threatened to cut me off if I didn't take them out. He still hates that I'm doing it again, but here we are.

I'm also covered in tattoos. Just wondering how many others are out there...I work with a lady who is at 1/2 inch, but hers look much more professional that mine. I primarily wear plugs because they don't seem to be noticed as much.
