Why Does Walmart Allow Illegals to Exploit Multiple Accounts While Legitimate Drivers Get Screwed?
I don’t get it—why is Walmart allowing people using multiple accounts under different names to game the system? I get that Walmart wants orders delivered, but damn, these people are running software that completely locks out legitimate drivers. It’s like you need a bot or a "friend" in on the scheme just to get decent orders.
Meanwhile, legitimate drivers like me, who went through the whole process—submitting SSN, driver’s license, and everything else—get stuck watching others exploit the system without consequences. If foreigners can do it without real accounts, then why are our personal documents even needed? It’s frustrating knowing that if I ever get deactivated, my SSN and driver’s license will still be in their database while these people just create another fake account and keep making money.
I walked into the Walmart Supercenter where I first started and talked to an associate. I asked if they saw the same people picking up orders under different names, and they straight-up said yes. So I asked why nothing was being done, and their response? Crickets. Makes me think these stores are too scared to act, probably because they’re afraid of ethics complaints or something. If this is happening at one store, it’s probably happening at all of them across the country.
So what’s the move? Do we take this to the FTC, Walmart corporate, or what? Because it’s bad enough that earnings have taken a hit, but now we’re competing against fraudsters who have found a loophole while we have to follow all the rules. If Walmart doesn’t care, does anyone?
