Problems with glitches?

I recently picked up a sky tech Archangel, and was wondering if anyone else previously had problems with some graphics issues? Whenever I reboot my graphics card, it seems to work fine for a little bit, but then it goes back to giving strange display errors, such as previous Applications and screens being left when I switched tabs, does anyone have a solution for this?
