Toddler and Reduction

I’m excited and nervous. Surgery is this Friday. I have two young children 10 months and 3.5. My husband understands I cannot lift or do pretty much anything for at least a couple weeks. My mom will come for ten days to help. I’m super nervous bc my oldest is obsessed with me likes to sleep with me and cuddle and climb all over me. He’s going to have tantrums when he can’t do all these things and I’m worried he will just come in my bed at night. Should I just get a hotel for a couple days??? Also I am a nurse practitioner. I don’t do any lifting at work just sit and walk to exam rooms and talk assess patients. I took four weeks off? Do you all think that is enough?
