I saw a ghost or entity staring @ me

So ever since we were young the apartment we moved into has always had this sort of poltergeist energy where stuff will go flying doors will open, foot steps, shadows your normal ghostly energy. However in my teenage years i believe i saw something that has been watching us for years. So i was doing my makeup on my mirror which was next to my bedroom door, & my door was open which meant i can see the kitchen and part of our living room, when i was doing my eyeliner i felt like something was staring at me, so when i looked up i saw a women with long black hair, grey skin & black eyes, w white clothing, staring @ me but the kind of stair when ur looking @ something trying to figure out what it is their doing or how their doing it, when i saw this i immediately ran because i knew i was home alone and i knew what i saw wasnt human. I never saw it again but the staring face haunts me.
