Torsades de pointes (TdP) ??
Hello everyone. So I have been having severe health anxiety over my heart fluttering and Google led me down a rabbit hole I'm not proud of. I stumbled upon a thing called, Torsades de pointes. It's a type of irregular heart rhythm that can last a few seconds to multiple episodes in rapid succession
I've had fluttering fast heart beats for like 2 to 20 seconds and I've even had an episode that specifically started the. Stopped then started then stopped again within the span of 30 or so seconds. Maybe less.
My question is, can svt feel like this? Where your heart flutters then goes back to normal but then starts up again then goes back to normal again? I'm so scared of having Torsades de pointes.
I've had 4 holter monitors 3 echocardiograms Multiple ekgs
And an ablation for wpw syndrome. But I never had a monitor that recorded these episodes. They happen so randomly. Maybe once or twice a year since 2015.
