One cool thing about Nightreign is that each character class specializes in a specific weapon type, giving them unique alternative movesets for that weapon class. The downside? Unless the weapon has an Ash of War that changes its moveset, all weapons in that class lose their original unique attacks.

For example, the Claymore loses its thrust heavy attacks, and special greatswords lose their stylish two-handed light attacks when used by Wylder. If you want to use the original Elden Ring movesets, you’ll have to play as a character who doesn’t specialize in that weapon.
