Apartment available for rent but the whole building is up for sale?

Is this a well known scam that I'm not aware of or more likely just a sublet while the owners wait for the house to sell? My friend sent me a link to this IG reel asking me to look into it: https://www.instagram.com/akn.re/reel/DC1iRT7OILN/

With the info in that reel, I was easily able to find the building at 280 W 11th St here: https://streeteasy.com/sale/1488974

It's currently for sale for a measly $15m, and has been listed for sale since before that reel was posted. What makes me skeptical is the fact that it's posted on Instagram but not on Zillow or StreetEasy, is that a thing? With NYC real estate it wouldn't surprise me if it is just normal but I don't have any personal experience renting that way.
