MDMA effect difference - water vs bombing

Hello community!

I have been doing M since 2020 reasonably, i.e. respecting the three month rule (usually taking longer breaks) and avoiding large doses in general ( <150mg per experience).

When I started experimenting with M, my route of administration was often via "bombing": packaging the dose into a small cigarette paper and eating it. However, some time ago (around two years or so) I switched my administration strategy to dissolving the M in water and drinking it in one go (without waiting prolonged times between sips).

Around that time M started to hit differently - the experience became more "psychedelic" as opposed to "euphoric". Bear in mind that I did not change the dose nor started doing the stuff more frequently. Also the peak was not as intense as previously, instead it was a bit milder but was longer overall. The comeup is also a bit different, it takes longer and usually not that great.

I wanted to ask whether anybody experienced different effects of M based on the type of administration (bombing vs the water approach)?

I haven't found anything regarding this on google/reddit so far and I am curious. Of course I can test the difference myself but I think I am subjected to a lot of confirmational bias at this point. Also could be the case of just losing the magic in general.

Thanks for the answers in advance!
