I think I have a problem

It's my wife's 40th this week and she's wanted a Kitchen Aid Mixer for ages. I saw a KSM150 in good condition at a good price and bought it. I then saw a K45 pop up for sale shortly followed by a K45SS. I thought itd6be great to restore one that was (about) 40 years old. I then saw another KSM150 for sale locally for a good price with a glass bowl, plastic bowl cover and pouring shield; I'll take those and sell the machine on.

All regreased but not all working. I broke speed control board and the phase control board from the K45SS was a bit broken too. The K45 was running but had very low torque at low speed (I could stop it with my hand), it now doesn't run at all; I think this needs a new motor now. I'll fix these up when I've given her the K45SS as it's all been a surprise and I need some space and time to take the motor out again.

I've managed in secret to fully restore the K45SS, with a stolen speed control board and phase control board from one of the KSM150s. I fully stripped it and repainted it too.

Left to right K45, K45SS (repainted), KSM150, the 'original' KSM150.

Thanks to the community for help in getting a few issue sorted especially u/RIMixerGuy and Mr Mixer on youtube! I've enjoyed the journey and can't wait to give her her gift!
