2 Weeks in Italy (Venice, Florence and Rome)

I'm trying so hard not to overpack on this trip so I'm outfit planning! We'll be spending 2 weeks between Venice, Florence and Rome (with a couple of nights in Amsterdam as well) late June/early July.

It seems like it'll be warm, though I'm bringing a denim jacket and a cardigan for any cool evenings and to cover up for churches. Normally we do laundry halfway through but most of the things I'm bringing don't go through the dryer, so I want to have something different each day.

Any thoughts/insights on traveling in Italy in the summer?!
