Why didn’t Vaggie Die?

These are genuine questions because I feel like there are so many plot holes with this that I have to be missing something.

So Lute clearly cuts Vaggie’s wings off and spears her eye out. Vaggie bleeds all over the place and is in clear agony, but somehow this doesn’t kill her?

I thought she had “died” off screen, and by the time Charlie found her, Vaggie was doomed to stay in hell as a fallen angel (her skin is a duller complexion afterwards as proof). But when Adam gets stabbed, he straight up dies. Shouldn’t Vaggie have died permanently, too?

Also Adam and Lute act surprised when the exorcist angels are harmed/killed with angelic weapons, but they shouldn’t be shocked since they used Lute’s angelic spear to try and kill Vaggie. Vaggie should have known at least, since she was injured, but she’s surprised when Carmilla reveals it to her. So what gives?

I still love this show to death, just curious what others think of this!
