Tire blowout or slashed tire?

Drove home from the gym last night and heard hissing but didnt know what it was because it was dark, I thought maybe it was sprinklers. This morning the tire was completely flat. I'm assuming it just blew out or something but the rip is so straight and long I wasn't sure. It would be hard for so. Eome to slash a tire this way right?
