Anyone know what this is ?

I’m installing a new apple car play on the Audi and need to take off the silver lining from the car to place the new mount. Those circle things appear to be stopping me from taking it off ; as you can see the trim sits underneath that piece and connects to the cluster trim . Anyone know how to take this off ? The plastic seems so fragile I don’t want to break it .
