Maxwells bricking my whole computer

I will be playing a game or watching a video and my headphones will randomly stop playing output so i restart them and when it reconnects it will sometimes cause my whole pc to completely freeze. Ive never heard of a problem this stupid in my life. how TF are headphones bricking my pc..
