Looking for RPGs with Player Freedom, Tough Choices, and Immersive Worlds (No Hardcore Turn-Based/Tactical Combat!)

I’m looking for RPG recommendations that scratch the same itch as games like Dragon Age: OriginsFallout: New VegasThe Elder Scrolls series, Cyberpunk 2077KOTORMass EffectVampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines, and Deus Ex. The common thread I love about these games is the high degree of player freedom, impactful choices, and morally gray decision-making that can seriously alter the world, story, or NPCs around you.

My main criteria:

  • Strong narrative with deep role-playing elements
  • Meaningful choices that actually matter
  • Exploration-heavy, immersive worlds
  • Reactive NPCs and world-building
  • Preferably real-time or action-based combat (no hardcore turn-based/tactical RPGs)

I’m open to both AAA and indie recommendations, older or newer games. Any hidden gems out there that fit the bill? Let me know what you suggest! Thanks!
