AIO Parents wiped their children's noses with their fingers and then wiped the snot on their own pants

I am a man in my 30s and have three children (aged 2, 4, and 10). I was on a cabin trip with a couple of friends and their children (aged 3 and 6) when I started noticing their poor hygiene habits. For example, they let their children cough on everything without covering their mouths, and they didn’t even tell them to turn away from food and drinks or to cover their mouths. The worst part was that they wiped their children's noses with their fingers and then wiped the snot on their own pants.

I confronted my friends, suggesting that we should be more mindful of preventing the spread of illness since several of the children had colds. They responded by saying I was overreacting and should just focus on my own children. Later, a stomach virus broke out in the cabin...
