I love seeing older people in fandoms

It’s so comforting because I got into fanfiction and anime when I was in 6th grade and I never really grew out of it. Sometimes I feel really childish looking at anime figures online or reading fanfics but at the same time, these are two things I’m seriously passionate about.

I’m 17 now (18 in February!!) and I just get so happy seeing people above the age of 30 still into this sorta stuff. ESPECIALLY fanfic writers you KNOW that shit is gonna be juicy when author is a 40yr old mother of three kids.

It helped me realize my own free will in a weird way. Just bcs I start doing adult stuff doesn’t mean I’ll stop liking those things. Who’s gonna stop me from reading or watching what I want when I’m 53? Nobody!!!!! Thank you tax payers for your unintentional wisdom !!!!!
